Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

Details
On Saturday, September 24, Aurora residents are invited to place unwanted, gently used items clearly labelled FREE at the curb for other residents to take free of charge. This helps divert unwanted items out of landfill. All uncollected items should be removed from the curb after 5 p.m.
