Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

The Red Shirt Classic Golf Tournament is an exciting and brand-new event that has been proudly launched on Red Shirt Day. The day itself holds great significance as it brings people from all over Canada together, united in their mission to create a more accessible and inclusive society. On this special day, individuals wear red as a symbol of their unwavering support for disabled people and their families, as well as to commemorate the remarkable achievements of disabled Canadians. The tournament is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together for a day of fun, while showing their dedication to making the world a more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone.
Each participant will be gifted for their support for the day to feel a sense of unity. And, that’s not all! There will be some exciting surprises waiting for you along the course to keep your spirits high. To start the day with a burst of energy, you can indulge in a light and nutritious breakfast. To wrap things up on a high note, we have an exquisite lunch planned for you at the clubhouse. We aim to make this event a memorable one for all the participants!
