Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

Bundle up in your favourite winter gear and make your way to Aurora Town Square on Saturday, February 15 for a day filled with family-friendly fun! Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., join us as we kick off Aurora’s Arctic Adventure with an entertaining show put on by Marquee Theatrical Productions. Enjoy a special presentation by Speaking of Wildlife, as they introduce you to a variety of fascinating winter animals. Let your little ones embrace their creative sides at our craft stations, or by enjoying an impressive live pottery demonstration by Aurora’s own Pine Tree Potters! Remember to BYOS – bring your own skates – so that you and your loved ones can enjoy the square’s outdoor skating loop.
There is a wealth of exciting activities lined up, all designed to help you make the most of the Family Day long weekend. Get ready for an unforgettable Family Day adventure! On Monday, February 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., head to Aurora’s Arctic Adventure at the beautiful Aurora Town Park for a day packed with winter fun. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the crisp winter air or try something new, there’s something for everyone!
Feel the rush of adrenaline as you take on our mini snowtubing run, provided by Snow Valley Resorts. Or test your skills and challenge your friends at Nerf Axe Throwing – how sharp is your aim? And that’s not all! A variety of outdoor activities will keep you entertained all day long.
The fun doesn’t stop there! You won’t want to miss the incredible live performances, including the Canadian Lumberjack Show, where you’ll see jaw-dropping feats of strength and skill – and performances by the Amazing Fire Guy, whose fiery stunts are sure to wow you!
And what’s a day of winter fun without some tasty treats? Delicious food vendors will be on site, offering a variety of food options to fuel you throughout the day.
