Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

Aurora’s Mayor and Council Levee is taking place on Saturday January 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Aurora Town Square. This is one event you won’t want to miss!
What is a levee? Traditionally, it’s a gathering where leaders come together with their community to share an optimistic vision for the year ahead. Today, Aurora’s Mayor and Council Levee has become a fun open house where you can meet your local leaders, learn about their work, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of our community, all while enjoying a fun and festive atmosphere.
Join us on Saturday January 4, for this amazing event that not only gives you the chance to meet Aurora’s Mayor and Town Council, but also to take part in a variety of exciting, free, family-friendly activities!
