Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

The Town of Aurora, in partnership with Chabad Aurora, is proud to host this year’s Menorah Lighting Ceremony.
We invite you to celebrate with us on December 29, starting at 4 p.m., as we kick off the Festival of Lights with outdoor skating, downtown walk, followed by the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, and a Fire Performance show.
