Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

In partnership with Yuk Yuk's, we’re excited to invite you to a special evening of laughter in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association York Region and South Simcoe! On Saturday, November 30th, we're hosting our first "Comedy for a Cause" event at the Lion & Sun Bar and Lounge in Sharon, Ontario. The show starts at 8:00 PM, but feel free to arrive early for dinner and drinks with family & friends! This event features headliner Scott Faulconbridge, known for his masterful timing and quirky storytelling, along with MC Justin Shaw, a comedian celebrated for his engaging humor. Together, they promise to deliver a night of unforgettable comedy while raising awareness and support for mental health. Please note: This show is rated PG-13, making it suitable for older children and teens. It's a family-oriented event, perfect for enjoying a night of fun together!
