Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

The 3rd Annual RUN FOR NEWMARKET Charity Run in Support of Southlake Foundation. The Run for Newmarket is an event created and organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for the sole purpose of providing a grassroots program to raise funds and awareness for non-profit and other social organizations in Newmarket.
The Run brings out serious and casual runners and walkers from all across Newmarket. Participants come with their families and enjoy the festivities of the day.

9:00 a.m. > Opening Ceremony
9:30 a.m. > 5K, & 3K Run Start
9:45 a.m. > 1K Family Fun Walk Starts
11:00 a.m.> Closing Session with Awards
11:00 a.m. > Free Lunch
Distance: 1K Family Fun Walk, 3K Run & 5K Run.
