Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:

  • Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
  • Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
  • Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar

The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:

  • Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
  • Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
  • No soliciting of funds or donations

Sign up for our next hybrid Speaker Series presentation on Wednesday, April 24th at 7PM, featuring researcher Cameron Telch! The presentation will highlight the representation of shell shock in First World War media, featuring a review of two unprecedented archival discoveries. Join our conversation about how a veteran's mental health was perceived in the early twentieth century, and get a close-up look at thought-provoking primary sources.
