Events submitted/posted on Aurora’s Event Calendar must:
- Have a clear connection to the Town of Aurora and the community
- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit community based event
- Be submitted no less than 10 business days prior to the date of the event to ensure posting on the calendar
The Town of Aurora will not allow the following type of events to be submitted through the Community Calendar:
- Announcements/events that promote a commercial interest or commercial cause
- Political and/or partisan based events from non-elected officials
- No soliciting of funds or donations

Join us at our Annual General Meeting held at the Aurora Seniors Centre.
Learn about our accomplishments and future plans for the Arboretum. Election of new board members will also take place followed by our speaker.
Our guest speaker is: Deborah Metsger, Assistant Curator of Botany at ROM
In April 2023 A Field Guide To Trees of Ontario, the latest book in the ROM’s popular field guide series was published. Deborah Metsger, ROM’s Assistant Curator of Plants, and coauthor of this publication will use the book as an entry to exploring the diversity of trees in Ontario – their features, stories, habitats and ecological importance.
